Many people have trouble with growing cucumber plants so here are some tips.

They require protection from frost and rain so a glasshouse or poly tunnel is a must.

Do not touch the stem when planting!

Plant at only 3/4 depth!

Water sparingly and away from the main stem!

Once established they will require lots of feeding and water.

Ideally the fruits should not be lying on anything as they will yellow on the contact side.

If growing horizontally place wheat straw underneath.

Only buy all female flowering types as we sell here at the centre.
